Diagnoses of genera of South East Asia: Rhombonotus (?; ?). R.
similis Hasselt, 1882 [= Ligonipes. - J.Pr.]. It is close to Ligonipes.
Ligonipes does not occur in S.E. Asia. Drawings of the Australian species
R. gracilis (and Ligonipes) are given in Davies & Zabka,
1989. Distribution: Rhombonotus is known only from Sumatra and Australia.
General remarks: Most of these genera are known only from south east
Asia. Although there are still no habitat details, genitalia and occasionally
other drawings are now available for many of them. In the original descriptions
and in Simon's salticid classification, mention is sometimes made of close and
more familiar relatives. The latter will be discussed in more detail in due
course. Murphy & Murphy 2000: 272. By
