EUPOAINES - represented here by the genus Eupoa and two genera described from Hainan Is. (China) are minute (total length 2 mm, or less), vegetation litter dwellers. Such spiders have similar appearance on all continents, irrelevant of their relationships. Eupoa is characterized by presence of several tegular apophyses on bulbus, well illustrated on electronic microscopy scans provided in excellent paper by Logunov and Marusik 2014, which shows extensive diversity of these structures. Summarizing of epigyne structure require more studies. Taking into account also broad geographical distribution, stretching from China to India and to Indonesia, one may expect high number of not yet discovered species, which may, perhaps, be split into several genera.

DIAGNOSIS. "The jumping spiders of Corusca gen. nov. can be distinguished from the Salticoida species by the presence of median apophysis and the varying compound terminal apophysis of male palp (except in C. viriosa sp. nov. and C. wuzhishanensis sp. nov.); from Lyssomaninae, Hisponinae and Eupoa by the presence of varying tegular apophysis on hemispheric bulbus and the absence of paired copulatory openings on epigyne; and from Insula gen. nov. by the presence of median apophysis and the densely white setae on male palp." DIAGNOSIS. "The jumping spiders of Insula gen. nov. [= Sinoinsula Zhou & Li, 2013 - replacement name] can be distinguished from Salticoida by the presence of a complicated compound terminal apophysis in male palp; from Lyssomaninae, Hisponinae and Spartaeinae by the presence of patellar apophysis in male palp and the merged female copulatory ducts; and from Eupoa and Corusca gen. nov. by the lack of median apophysis in male palp."
