REMARKS. Genus originally placed in Lapsiinae by Maddison 2006. Transferred
to Spartaeinae because shape of spermathcae and general shape of male pals,
in spite of presence of prominent tegular apophysis. Grouping of eyes and size
of PME resembles Brettus and some other genera. This is the first representaive
of Spartaeinae ever found in Western Hemisphere. (J. Prószyński,
2014-X-31).
