The copies below are excerpts of my publication of 1971, in which I called attention to diversity of Aelurillus v-insignitus occurring in Poland as forms "black" and "gray". I was not sure, then, how to interpret observed differences. Later Marek Zabka repeated description of them in his "Fauna Polski" (1997) , but without changing theie status. And nothing more happened since. The species was overlooked in Platnick's Catalog, and the drawings drawings shown below are not mentioned there.
