Note on illustrations. This introduction to classification
of Salticidae includes only species defined by diagnostic illustrations in
the taxonomic literature, arranged by similarities of embolus and spermophor.
Images are displayed as thumbnails to save space and allow for rapid scanning
of theoretically closely-related species. Thumbnails are small versions
of illustrations in other parts of the monograph, whera are displayed
together with particulars of their sources and permissions.
Gen. Corusca Zhou & Li, 2013 (9 species),
Type species Corusca gracilis .
DIAGNOSIS. "The jumping spiders of Corusca gen. nov. can be distinguished from the Salticoida species by the presence of median apophysis and the varying compound terminal apophysis of male palp (except in C. viriosa sp. nov. and C. wuzhishanensis sp. nov.); from Lyssomaninae, Hisponinae and Eupoa by the presence of varying tegular apophysis on hemispheric bulbus and the absence of paired copulatory openings on epigyne; and fromInsula gen. nov. by the presence of median apophysis and the densely white setae on male palp."
