Note on illustrations. This introduction to classification of Salticidae includes only species defined by diagnostic illustrations in the taxonomic literature, arranged by similarities of embolus and spermophor. Images are displayed as thumbnails to save space and allow for rapid scanning of theoretically closely-related species. Thumbnails are small versions of illustrations in other parts of the monograph, whera are displayed together with particulars of their sources and permissions.

Gen. Enoplomischus Giltay, 1931 (2 species)

Type species Enoplomischus ghesquierei.
DIAGNOSIS. Body ant-like, pedicel with prominent dorsal spine. Bulbus elongate oval, occupies almost the whole length of cymbium. Embolus makes a loose ellipse, encircling bulbus one and half times. Epigyne with a pair of transverse oval grooves in the middle, the internal structure very complicated, with copulatory openings in the posterior half of epigyne. Copulatory ducts initially broad, make lateral frame to their further course, upon reaching anterior end of epigyne make prominent arch, next double back making double spiral, their internal spiral doubling again ahead, in anterior part of epigyne joining elongate spermathecae running laterally back, turning transversally at the posterior end of epigyne. Diagnostic drawings below are integral part of definition.
