Note on illustrations. This introduction to classification of Salticidae includes only species with diagnostic illustrations in the taxonomic literature, arranged by similarities of embolus and spermophor. Images are displayed as thumbnails to save space and allow for rapid scanning of theoretically closely related species. Type species Acragas longimanus.
DIAGNOSIS (resembles SITTICINAE by "S"-like loop of spermophor, but body shape and cheliceral dentition are different, spermatheca resembles Amycus and DENDRYPHANTINES). Diagnostic drawings below are integral part of definition.
