Type species Sarinda nigra.
DIAGNOSE. Palps unusually modified, with squat cymbium sitting tightly on broad but gradually narrowing tibia of various length. Bulbus encircled by different number of coils of embolus, from several and thin, single but arising from a very broad basis. Internal structures of epigyne variable. Copulatory ducts may have a form of double spiral, coiled around spermathecal duct, the internal spiral may consists of minute coils tightly attached to spermathecal duct (Sarinda silvatica), it seems from enclosed drawings that in some species the internal coil may be changed into internal convoluted duct inside broader sclerotized structure (Sarinda capibarae). Spermatheca may consist of two globular, sclerotized chambers connected by sclerotized duct of various length, in some species the duct can be very long and thin, and the first chamber may be not developed
