CHRYSILLINES

by Jerzy Prószyński
Version December 31st, 2015 Note on illustrations. This introduction to classification of Salticidae includes only species with diagnostic illustrations in the taxonomic literature, arranged by similarities of embolus and spermophor. Images are displayed as thumbnails to save space and allow for rapid scanning of theoretically closely related species. Thumbnails are small versions of illustrations in other parts of the monograph, whera are displayed together with particulars of their sources and permissions.

Gen. Siler Simon, 1889 (10 species)

Type species Siler cupreus.
NOTE. Genus recognizable by bright, shining coloration. Palp confront with other genera of this group. Pockets anterior, their rims for sort of a roof (or fold) over anterior part of epigyne. ATTENTION. Similar bright color pattern can be seen in unrelated genera on other continents. Diagnostic drawings below are integral part of definitions.
